The High Incidence Needs Team (HINT) provides advice, guidance, training and support to primary schools and secondary schools across Gateshead to meet the needs of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
HINT has four specialist teams:
- Complex Social Communication
- Speech Language Communication Needs
- Cognition and Learning (for Specific Learning Difficulties)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs
