Gateshead Council’s Early Help Service is a team of family support workers providing direct, practical help and advice to families with dependent children who may be experiencing difficulties with parenting, family relationships, managing a budget, household routines, child behaviours and school attendance and getting the right help from other professionals.
The service also offers free group programmes to help parents and carers build effective relationships with children of all ages and with a variety of needs.
