Gateshead SEND Local Offer Website Consultation
Gateshead Council have launched an official consultation to hear your views about the SEND Local Offer website. We want to hear from anybody who uses the site – children and young people with SEND, their families, and professionals who work in the sector. The consultation will be open until April 29th 2024.

What you need to know about the Local Offer
The Department for Education has created a Local Offer Guide and video which explains what is meant by “Local Offer” and what you can expect from your local authority.
SEND Strategic Priority Action Plan
In response to the published Local Area SEND Inspection Report Gateshead have produced a Priority SEND Action Plan which details how as a local area we will respond to the identified areas for improvement.
